So… last night, Agape went to a Senior Home! (Brightside something Residences haha :P)
It was so lovely! The senior home was actually really nice, it smelled like cinnamon! Like it was furnished in such a comfortable, home-y way. I guess it’s the least they can do for the seniors.. ah I feel so bad for them, someone told us that for some, the nice interior may be all that’s going for them. I talked to so many seniors and they are all so different from each other! (well what was I expecting.. they’re all people with their own different personalities -_-) (sometimes even I wonder what I’m doing LOL) Anyways, they were all so happy to have us come! It was so sweet! Well myself, all four of my grandparents passed away when I was really young + they all lived in Hong Kong where I barely ever went, and so I never had a relationship with my grandparents or actually know anyone around that age anyway. So I really didn’t know what to expect. I guess in the back of my mind I was thinking of that old man telling stinkin’ kids to get off his lawn… But that definitely was not the case (obviously, idk why I even thought of that -__-)  I met a Norman, a Pat, a Jackie, a Rose, a Steve, a Tracy and a Denise! They’re all so sweet. I think some of them are so lonely… Perhaps their family don’t visit very often.. Anyways, so Robyn and Michael were planning the program, but I guess they didn’t communicate about it very much and so they planned it in the 30 minutes before we were supposed to be there LOL.. -_- Well they had a couple of songs and so then the people that came early, we learned the dance from Robyn in a gazebo hahah! It was fun :) The senior home is actually so comfortable and beautiful but ahh I don’t know if I would like to be put into one in the future.. Like I said, it must be really lonely.. OH right, okay so then they planned a couple of songs, and were going to play charades after, but then when we got there, we ended up singing songs for like an hour and a half and i will finish this tomorrow =) goodnight
